Dedree “Dee” Butler was born in St. Louis, MO where she was raised by a strong single mother who believed in the pursuit of excellence via higher education. She volunteered with the St. Louis Gateway Classic Sports Foundation, a non-profit agency that supports the youth of St. Louis. She worked closely with Earl Wilson, philanthropist. She traveled across the country to attend college at “the Mecca” Howard University. It was there that she continued her service to the community, now in Washingto ...
