Jason Stoffel was born and raised in Dubuque, Iowa. He relocated from Dubuque to Cedar Falls, Iowa, to attend the University of Northern Iowa and study criminology. While at the University of Northern Iowa, he was a teaching assistant for criminal justice classes.
