Diana Sullivan was born and raised in Las Vegas. She attended college at the University of Nevada Reno and in 1989 graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Criminal Justice. In 1992 she graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law. She started her legal career in 1992 at the litigation firm of Jones, Jones Close & Brown (subsequently Jones Vargas) and became a partner in 2001.
